Zurich Financial Services Group (Zurich), an insurance-based financial services provider, has named Claudia Dill to the position of CEO for the North America Shared Services Platform (ZFUS), effective September 2009. Ms. Dill is currently COO of Europe General Insurance.
In her new role, Ms. Dill will report to Paul Hopkins, CEO of the Americas, and will be located in New York City. She succeeds Keitha Schofield, who will become the chief integration officer for Zurich’s recent acquisition of AIG’s Personal Lines Auto business in the US.
Ms. Dill joined Zurich in 1999, and served as CFO of Group Reinsurance before becoming CFO Europe in 2003. In 2007, she was appointed as COO for Europe General Insurance.
