Fiserv said that the banking firm will utilize its CheckFree RXP suite for electronic bill (e-bill) delivery, payments and transfers and ZashPay for person-to-person payments.
Zions will utilize the Fiserv digital payment platform to power payments through both the online and mobile channels, enabling a consistent cross-channel experience for both consumer and business users.
Zions Bancorporation vice president of interactive services Matthew Wilcox said that they want to continue to grow the services they offer consumers and deliver more integrated payments capabilities, and they’ve found that Fiserv shares that vision and has the ability to get them there.
Fiserv division president of electronic payments Tony Catalfano said that this type of multi-channel payment platform that can support more than one user segment and can evolve to support additional functionality is something they will see more of in the future.
