Yorkshire Bank, part of the National Australia Bank Group, has launched a current account that helps customers to manage their lifestyle as well as finances – reported Easier.com.

It has been reported that the Signature Current Account can be linked to a savings account or to an offset mortgage. Reportedly, the account comes with a range of insurance benifits of worth GBP400 a year, and help customers maximise interest by sweeping surplus credit from their account into a linked Signature Savings Account. The bank has said that customers can avail the facility for a monthly fee of GBP10.

Gary Lumby, head of retail banking at Yorkshire Bank, said: For just £10 a month, the Signature Current Account provides customers with everything they need from a current account. Plus the added peace of mind that everything from snowboarding on their winter holiday to their car breaking down, their identity being stolen or their iPod being damaged – is covered. The account allows customers to make their money work harder for them. By automatically sweeping surplus balance from their current account, Signature customers can ensure their cash accrues the higher interest of the linked savings account – helping them make the most of their hard earned cash.
