Xoom transactions will be processed through Punjab National Bank in India, while customers availing the serve can transfer and deposit money during bank processing hours.
Headquartered in San Francisco, more than 840,000 active customers with the company sent over $3.6bn to family and friends in 30 countries across the globe as at 31 March 2013.
The company aims to allow consumers send money in a secure, fast and cost-effective way using their smartphone, tablet or computer.
