Wincor Nixdorf and its local partner AGS Infotech have bagged an order for 1,000 ATMs from State Bank of India (SBI).
Reportedly, the bank will install 300 multifunctional ProCash 2100xe systems and 700 ProCash 1500xe cash dispensers. As part of the contract AGS Infotech will supply, install, commission and maintain the ATMs at the sites across the country on behalf of Wincor Nixdorf.
The Wincor Nixdorf has said that this is the first order for Wincor Nixdorf from SBI which operates an ATM network of approximately 15,000 ATMs and 12,000 bank branches across India.
Ricardos Khoury, Asia Pacific vice president and head of banking division at Wincor Nixdorf, said: “We are delighted that Wincor Nixdorf will provide state-of-the-art ATM systems to help SBI provide its customers with reliable and convenient cash services across the country.”
