The newly introduced application is equipped with an easier login to Mobile Banking and a map function for locating and getting directions to Bank branches.

Using their smartphone mobile devices, customers can also view account balances and transaction history, transfer money between accounts and pay bills, said the bank.

Commenting on the launch of new m-banking solutions, Westfield Bank vice president of retail banking and marketing Kevin O’Connor said, "We strive to provide our customers with the highest levels of customer service and provide them with access to their banking services the way they choose."

The Westfield Bank Mobile Banking iPhone, iPad and iPod touch compatible apps are available from the Apple App Store, and the Android compatible application is available from the Google Play Store.

The bank has also redesigned its online banking and online account opening websites, and offered new services such as Mobile and Text Banking and Purchase Rewards, as well as a debit card rewards program.
