According to the wealth manager, Brenizer will work mainly with Capital Goods clients, focusing on multi-industry companies, while Cheney will spearhead metals & mining sector as well as construction materials & services.
The US banking behemoth said that both new team members will be based in New York and will report to John Church, head of Industrials.
John Church said, "Bill has a wealth of experience and deep relationships in the Capital Goods sector, which is a very important part of Wells Fargo Securities’ customer base."
"David’s experience and relationships are very complementary to our existing Metals & Mining practice, and will expand our coverage of construction materials, infrastructure and related service businesses."
Brenizer with 25 years of banking experience has worked with many investment bankers across the globe, while Cheney joined JPMorgan Securities in 1998, as a investment banker and headed the bank’s metals and mining sector.
Beginning his investment banking career in 1998, Cheney spent the first eight years at JPMorgan Securities where he focused on advising and raising capital for clients in the metals and mining sector.
After JPMorgan Securities, Cheney held various investment banking positions, including vice president at Wachovia Capital Markets, where he was part of the Global Industries group and focused on mining, metals, coal and construction materials.
