The company has announced that Christopher Jones, the vice president of the company, will assume primary portfolio management responsibility for the fund with effect from July 1, 2008.
Mr Jones joined the firm in 1994 and has been involved with the daily investment activity of the fund since 1998. He is a fixed income portfolio manager and chair of Wellington Management’s high yield strategy group.
