Rightcliq will combine Wishspace, a central location for storing items that a consumer is interested in purchasing, with features such as add products and compare with others.

Users will be able to initiate or can launch Rightcliq from other merchant website for buying. The tool will automatically fill in purchase details including a shipping address and payment account number. The account management function allows consumers to store multiple payment accounts and select the preferred account for payment.

The consumers will be able to store and organize online merchant discount codes/offers in Rightcliq for redemption at checkout. In addition to storing Visa credit, debit and prepaid accounts, consumers can store other payment options, including other payment brands, giving maximum choice and control. The service will also allow users to track the delivery status of purchases in one location.

Visa plans to launch Rightcliq in Spring, following several months of live market tests. Moreover, Visa intends to continue enhancing Rightcliq, including features which may be based on ongoing user feedback after the release.

Gerry Sweeney, global head of e-commerce and authentication, Visa, said: “Visa has been making ecommerce safe, reliable and as convenient as possible since the advent of online shopping – Rightcliq extends that legacy. This is about more than payment. Working with our financial institution clients, we’re challenging ourselves to develop new services that enhance consumers’ online shopping experiences. Rightcliq is a key step toward becoming the better way to shop.”
