Nicolas joins Visa Europe from Apollo Group, where he is serving as chief executive of Avant Spain and Ireland and manages the consumer finance business for Apollo Global Management from Madrid.
Before accepting the current role, he served Bank of America (BofA) as the MBNA European collections & portfolio optimization executive for the card business.
In addition to managing card services in Spain, he also oversaw the collections for Europe, including the UK, Ireland and Spain portfolios.
With over 20 years of financial services industry expertise, Nicolas has also served as the CEO Spain for GE Money and held various poisitions in different parts of Europe and Latin America for GE Capital.
Trading as a payments technology business, Visa Europe is owned and operated by member banks and other payment service providers from 36 nations across Europe.
