Vantiv has announced that it is offering the next generation of point-of-sale redemption technology with the Visa Offers platform to all cardholders and merchants in the US market.
Delivering customized sales offers to individual cardholders, the platform better connects cardholders and merchants and enhances their capabilities to increase loyalty.
Vantiv president of merchant services Donald Boeding said the company’s single-integrated processing platform combined with Visa Offers provides a new way to enhance the connection between cardholders and merchants.
"Now by making this unique platform available to our merchants, we can help clients drive even more loyalty for their brand by enabling them to deliver customized sale offers directly to consumers enrolled in Visa Offers programs, including during their shopping experience," Boeding added.
Visa global processing business head Darren Parslow said the new point-of-sale redemption technology also enables financial institutions and retailers to compete more effectively for a larger share of the consumer wallet.
Using a single, consistent redemption process, the redemption platform helps clients manage promotions across all sales locations as well as track and measure program success with a consolidated reporting tool.
Vantiv serves more than 1,300 financial institutions and nearly 400,000 merchant locations across the country.
