Ukash said consumers will be directed from the Ukash website to a site hosted by Citadel and having ordered a voucher, available in denominations of EUR20 to EUR100 they will be asked to log-in to their internet bank account to transfer the funds. A 19-digit Ukash voucher will then be displayed on screen as well as emailed to the customer at no additional charge. The voucher can then be used to shop, pay and play online wherever Ukash is accepted.

Mark Chirnside, CEO of Ukash said: “As online fraud continues to pose a significant problem, many customers remain fearful of revealing bank details when shopping online. This makes Ukash’s offering increasingly relevant, as customers can pay, play and shop online safe in the knowledge that their anonymity is guaranteed.

“We hope to enable anyone to spend cash online, irrespective of where they are in the world, so we are pleased to announce that customers in Greece and Hungary are now able to benefit from our service and the added convenience of not having to step foot in a shop to do so.”
