Langford will joins UBS from Morgan Stanley, where he served 17 years as an investment banker covering the energy industry, most recently as global head of the firm’s energy group. At Morgan Stanley, he worked in New York, Asia, and Houston.
Prior to Morgan Stanley, Langford served as a consultant with McKinsey and Company focused on energy firms. Prior to that, he worked as a production engineer at Exxon Mobile.
UBS Investment Bank chairman and CEO Carsten Kengeter said that the energy sector is dynamic, and with an increasing volume of deal activity, it is one of the most significant opportunities for UBS global investment banking business.
