The acquisition will strengthen UBS Brasil’s operations and enables to deliver various services related to equity derivatives, equities, options, exchange-traded fixed income, currencies and commodities in the local and global markets.

Link Investimentos will be known as UBS Brasil Corretora and the acquisition will help UBS to emerge as a leading wealth management and investment banking firm in the Brazilian market.

The Swiss lender has launched a new office in São Paulo’s financial district, which will be the new headquarters of UBS Brasil.
