Consolidated net profit for the period was E709.6 million, up 15.9% compared to E612.2 million in the January-September 2006 period.
The favorable trend for net interest income continued with an increase of 9.8% to E2.04 billion, compared to E1.85 billion achieved in the first nine months of 2006.
