In his new role, Sagiryan’s responsibilities will include overseeing strategic planning of the company’s investment banking division, capital raising on debt and equity markets, advising on and implementing M&A deals, deal structuring and investment consultation.

Catherine Thibaut, managing director at Troika Dialog, takes over as head of the Private Clients Division.

Thibaut joined Troika Dialog in October 2010 as head of Private Banking, Private Clients Division.

Sagiryan joined Troika Dialog in July 2009 and until today oversaw the company’s Private Clients business.

Prior to Troika Dialog, Sagiryan worked for several years as president of Renaissance Group, where he oversaw the group’s business development including key commercial partnerships, government relations, and the company’s investment banking and financial services.

Sagiryan in 1989 participated in founding Bain-Link, a Russian management consultancy where he worked as managing director until 1999.

From 1987 to 1989, Sagiryan served as advisor to the International Department of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. Prior to that, he was Head of Department at the Youth and Organization Committee of the USSR.
