Travelex, a global provider of international payments and foreign exchange solutions, has hired two new executives to the global senior management team, following on from recent new executive hires in North America, as part of its growth strategy.

Vanessa Murden has been appointed senior executive vice president for global operations and will have full responsibility for operations worldwide to ensure customer service and delivery for all international and domestic payment solutions. Prior to this role, Ms Murden served as the global product development director for Travelex’s outsourcing business.

Jayne Oates joined the global team as the human resources director. In this capacity, she will lead the human resources team while spearheading all company training initiatives and Travelex’s web-based tools for knowledge sharing, learning and performance management. Ms Oates has previously worked with firms such as Wirecard Payment Solutions, WorldPay and Equifax.

Ms Murden will be based in the headquarter offices in Washington DC and Ms Oates will be based in the London office.

David Sear, divisional managing director, said: “It is truly an exciting time for Travelex Global Business Payments and, as we continue to expand our footprint here in North America / Asia / EMEA and globally, I am excited to have Ms Murden and Ms Oates in such key roles. We currently have operations in 13 different countries and are expanding into new markets.”
