Travelex, a provider of international payments and foreign exchange solutions, has expanded its vertical market strategy for the financial institution and legal sectors globally with the appointment of Christopher Russell and a team that will roll out Travelex’s tailored solutions.

Travelex has named Mr Russell as executive vice president for global vertical markets. He will set the strategy and sales for all products to financial institutions and legal firms worldwide. Previously, he served as the executive vice president and regional divisional director for the partners division of Travelex. He has also worked at firms such as First Data and Global Payments.

Mr Russell’s team will include two direct new reports, Alfred Nader and Mike Rockouski, each responsible for the financial institution and legal sectors respectively. Mr Rockouski will serve as vice president and will be responsible for improving the profitability of financial institutions within North America. Mr Nader will serve as vice president and is responsible for driving sales for both existing and new clients, which currently service the needs of law firms in North America.

Mr Russell and Mr Nader will be based in Washington, and Mr Rockouski will be based in Denver, Colorado.
