Based on terms of the agreement, TransFirst will remain providing its payment processing products and services to business customers of City Bank Texas’ holding company and its affiliate members.

It will also allow the bank’s client to be benefited from an array of TransFirst’s payment processing services, such as an online centralized payment gateway, Transaction Express.

Further, TransLink, a comprehensive web-based reporting system and management tool can be used that offers 24/7 access to various merchant services and merchant bankcard solutions.

TransFirst president and CEO John Shlonsky said that by renewing the alliance for four more years, both companies are positioned for increased growth opportunities, with a robust existing and potential customer base for its processing services.

Formed in 1995 and headquartered in Hauppauge, New York, TransFirst currently processes nearly $37bn in annual sales volume for approximately 200,000 merchants and financial institution partners.

Headquartered in Lubbock, Texas, City Bank Texas manages over $2bn in assets and 22 branches catering additional banking services, including mortgage lending, trust, insurance, investments, indirect lending, private banking and wealth management.
