According to the wealth manager, the latest version of Razor Risk brings significant improvements, and increases the margin calculation speed more than double with improved efficiency as well as for capital and liquidity stress tests.

TMX technology group head and chief information officer Brenda Hoffman said Razor 3.0 has been engineered to offer a dramatic increase in performance for its customers.

"It is part of our constantly evolving product road map that will continue to bring leading risk management performance and functionality to our existing and new customers," Hoffman added.

In February 2012, Razor Risk was acquired by TMX, which offers risk management technology and consulting solutions to financial institutions globally.
