Kathe will replace Regina Foley, who has resigned as the Trust’s CCO, CFO, treasurer and secretary.

Kathe joined the Trust in November 2006 as a senior research analyst, a position he continues to hold with the Trust’s investment manger, Nanking Road Capital Management, which was formed in 2007, and was responsible for the non-technology portion of the Trust’s portfolio.

With 33 years of experience in emerging markets, Kathe began his career as a commercial banker in Taiwan and had a long association with Asian markets, working in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan.

The Taiwan Greater China Fund is listed and publicly traded in the US.

The Trust is organized for investment in securities of Taiwan issuers by non-Taiwan investors and currently follows an investment strategy of primarily investing in Taiwan listed companies that derive or expect to derive a significant portion of their revenues from operations in or exports to mainland China.
