Swedbank has announced that its Swedbank Markets is planning to establish a local equity and research team in Finland, building on a group of senior equity sales persons and analysts, previously of eQbank/Nordnet. By doing so the bank aims to strengthen its position as Nordic and Baltic investment bank. The team is expected to start its work in the beginning of 2010.
The Finnish team includes Katja Keitaanniemi, Tomas Söderholm, Jarkko Soikkeli, Erkki Vesola, Tomi Tiilola, Bengt Dahlström, Jari Honko, Antti Saari. Petri Karhunkoski, Lauri Siponen, Peter Sandlund, Sami Järvinen, and Jarkko Sirenius
