SumUp CEO Daniel Klein was quoted by Finextra as saying that a lot of traders in Europe are unable to take credit and debit card payments, due to traditional and expansive renting of payment terminals.
The company offers traders a mobile application and card reader to process credit card purchases.
"Even as we expand to new markets, our priority is perfecting our product for our merchants," Klein added.
The company claims that it is the only mPOS provider, which accepts both Visa and MasterCard payments, wherever it is trading and is likely to further its expansion internationally in future.
