Stream Global Services, a provider of customer care and business process outsourcing (BPO) services, has opened a new service centre in Aalborg, Denmark, as part of its global expansion strategy.

Supporting the demand for Stream’s global BPO services, the 100-seat Denmark facility will serve as a near-shore centre for Stream’s expanding European client roster, the company said.

The company’s Denmark center reportedly builds on its existing European presence, expanding its footprint to 18 centres across the EMEA region, supporting more than 28 languages.

Globally, Stream Global has 35 solution centres across 20 countries and supports 33 languages. The Denmark centre will provide BPO and customer care offerings for new and existing European clients looking for support in a near-shore location.

Scott Murray, chairman and CEO of Stream, said: This latest solution centre in Aalborg was chosen for its proximity to other Scandinavian countries and its highly qualified workforce. The area’s diverse population and multi-lingual capabilities make it a prime location for Stream to meet continued demand for its growing European client base, supplying quality resources fluent in Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, German, Icelandic and English.
