In her new role, Jones will be responsible for developing the next generation global investment operating platform for Schroders.
Jones joins from BlackRock where she was head of Structured Solutions Portfolio Management for Europe.
In this capacity, she was responsible for portfolio management of liability driven investment, asset allocation mandates and synthetic overlays.
Jones will report to Alan Brown, group chief investment officer.
Brown said they are delighted that Kate is joining them. Kate’s fund management background in LDI, Asset Allocation and Structured Solutions leaves her very well placed to lead this development for Schroders.
