This will make the Morgan Keegan’s investment banking services accessable to the middle market by Spectrum’s restructuring practice.

Michael Lederman, Managing Partner of Spectrum will join as head of Morgan Keegan’s new Special Situations Group and Joseph Sands, Partner of Spectrum joins as Managing Director of Special Situations Group.

Mike Lederman was a restructuring attorney for Shearman & Sterling; co-founded the restructuring group at Goldman, Sachs & Co.; co-founded The Gordian Group; and, has more than 25 years of experience in restructuring public and private companies as both advisor and principal. Lederman and Joe Sands have been partners for a decade and recently served as the principal debtor-side financial advisors in the restructuring of the convenience store industry.
