Japanese banks growing appetite for adoption of mobile payment services has provided various options of NFC services, including e-ticketing and loyalty programs.

The support of NFC international standards has allowed contactless service interoperability across all mobile operators and service providers.

Adoption of Gemalto TSM will also enable the mobile company to provide NFC services in Japan and globally, paving the way to cross-border commercial agreements.
