Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking strengthened its client orientation and investment banking capabilities with senior bankers appointments within its coverage & investment banking division.

In Paris, Dominique Favillier has joined from Bear Stearns where he was in charge of developing the Southern Europe franchise, to cover French and Belgian banks. Brigitte Richard-Hidden, formerly in charge of the senior coverage of the corporate clients, will be in charge of French insurance companies. François Potier, formerly senior banker dedicated to hedge fund clients, will cover a portfolio of Swiss banks and insurance companies, hedge funds and sovereign funds.

In London, Rolf Petermann has joined from Dresdner Kleinwort where he was co-head of the European financial institutions group. He will be senior banker and head of the German and Austrian financial institutions’ coverage team.

Vitcheslava Baranicka, formerly managing director responsible for developing the bank’s relationships with the national oil and gas companies, will be in charge of clients in the energy sector in Russia and Central Asia. Dania Seiglie, formerly managing director in charge of coverage for several key oil and gas clients in the energy and environmental group, will be in charge of corporates, British corporates in particular, in the energy sector.

In Madrid, Jose Enrique Concejo has joined from Aguirre Newman where he was head of the corporate finance department, to cover Spanish and Portuguese banks.

In New-York, Thomas Mann, formerly managing director and head of the financial institutions group at Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking and Alfred Capra, formerly managing director dedicated to the firm’s US insurance clients at Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking, will be in charge of a portfolio of American financial institutions.

James Nangle, formerly head of the corporate group for Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking in the Americas and William Connolly, formerly senior relationship manager dedicated to corporates, will be in charge of American corporate clients.

In Houston, Elizabeth Hunter, formerly senior relationship manager dedicated to clients in the oil & gas industry and head of Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking’s office, will cover a portfolio of energy clients for the Americas.

In Chicago, Joe Moreno, formerly senior relationship manager dedicated to corporates, will also cover a portfolio of corporate clients for the Americas.

These bankers will report to Thierry Aulagnon, head of the coverage and investment banking division and locally to the respective chief country officer.
