As part of strengthening services, Jon Needham has been named as global head of fiduciary services for Societe Generale Private Banking’s network.
Based in Jersey, Needham has also been appointed as group head of fiduciary services and wealth planning at Societe Generale Private Banking Hambros.
Needham has more than 25 years of experience in wealth management and private banking. He joined Societe Generale Hambros as head of private client trust for the Channel Islands in 2005.
Vittorio Castellani has been appointed as new global head of wealth planning and fiduciary services for Latin American clients. Based in Geneva, he is seconded to Alberto Valenzuela, deputy managing director of Societe Generale Private Banking (Suisse) and global market manager for Latin American Clients.
Castellani has over 10 years of experience in wealth planning solutions in banking and finance. In 2000, he joined Societe Generale group Luxembourg as advisor in wealth planning for private clients of Societe Generale Bank & Trust Luxembourg, and served in various senior management roles.
Cecile Decomps has been appointed as global head of life insurance, in charge of developing and promoting of the private bank’s life insurance offering among its international network. She will be based in Paris.
Decomps joined the the French banking group’s life insurance subsidiary, in 1997. She held various positions in the group’s life insurance services. In 2008, she was appointed as head of the life insurance offering at Societe Generale Private Banking France.
Marco Cameroni has been appointed as head of wealth planning and fiduciary services for Societe Generale Bank & Trust’s private banking activities in Luxembourg.
Cameroni will replace Claudio Bacceli, who was recently appointed managing director of private banking activities at Societe Generale Bank & Trust in Luxembourg.
Cameroni joined Societe Generale Bank & Trust in April 2008 as advisory manager, before taking
over responsibility for the credit department for Societe Generale Private Banking in September 2009.
