Societe Generale has strengthened its global strategy and economic research teams by announcing new appointments in Paris and London to bolster its global research offering.

Klaus Baader has joined the economic research team in London where he will co-head Eurozone economic research with James Nixon, replacing Veronique Riches-Flores. Ms. Riches-Flores will become head of thematic research, a newly created position. Based in Paris, she will identify areas of thematic interest in global economic trends. Mr. Baader and Ms. Riches-Flores will both report to Benoît Hubaud, deputy head of global research.

Dylan Grice has joined the global strategy – alternative view team based in London. He will report to Albert Edwards, head of global strategy. David Mendez-Vives has joined as an inflation-linked strategist, based in Paris within the fixed income and forex research team. He will report to Vincent Chaigneau, head of fixed income and forex strategy.
