Both Mr Goodman and Mr King will join the bank’s team of leading electronic trading specialists in London providing institutional investors with direct electronic access to more than 35 markets worldwide.

Mr Goodman has over 10 years of experience in the electronic trading space and has covered institutional clients across Europe and the US. Previously, he worked at UBS where he was head of sales for direct execution for Europe, Middle East and Africa. In that role he was responsible for all aspects of sales, account management and marketing. From 1996 to 1997 he worked as a support analyst at Cap Gemini, the IT consultancy.

Mr King has nearly 20 years’ experience in the asset management industry, responsible for single stock trading in Latin America, Asia, Europe and other emerging markets. Prior to joining the bank Jason was an equity trader at JP Morgan Asset Management in London since 1997. From 1989 to 1997 he worked as an equity trader for Martin Currie Investment Management.

With access to one of the largest liquidity pools in global equities, Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking’s global execution services team offers global coverage across 65 markets, liquidity solutions, advanced algorithms and an integrated execution product, which includes all equities & ETFs.

In 2010, the bank plans to further enhance its sales-trading service, to continue to innovate in global electronic services, to provide consistent capital commitment across all equities, and to reinforce its offering in portfolio trading, index and quant services, futures as well as US and Pan-Asian products.
