Heng will lead the effort of SGX to become Asia’s major commodities exchange. She will report to Gan Seow Ann, president of SGX.
Heng will join SGX from Mercuria Energy Trading, a global trading house where she set up the Gasoline trading team and headed it.
She has over 20 years of experience in the oil markets, and was associated with the Shell Group of companies and Esso Singapore in various trading, business development and leadership roles.
