The publication reported that the bank is also looking to appoint Denis Bugrov, a partner at management-consulting firm McKinsey & Company in Russia as its strategist. The bank has been facing a lot of resignations since its former head, Andrei Kazmin, was replaced by former economy minister German Gref in November 2007.

The first to resign was Alla Alyoshkina, the deputy head of the bank, followed by finance director Vladimir Mamakin and management board members Andrei Pogodin and Irina Bokhan. Since these resignations the bank has been looking for replacements.

The names of the new candidates have been sent for approval to the central bank, Reuters added.
