National Commercial Bank and the Saudi Air Defense have signed an agreement to automate the payrolls of the Air Defense using NCB’s integrated e-Payroll solution. NCB’s e-Payroll service offers applications and a sophisticated system that allow the Air Defense’s administration an integrated platform to electronically manage, follow up and execute its payroll, including salaries as well as other payable accounts.

Turki Al-Saud, director general of administrative and financial affairs at Air Defense, said: “The administration aims through this step to act in the light of the e-government direction toward keeping pace with technological development in order to continuously facilitate procedures and enhance the payroll performance and boosting order, accuracy and efficiency of administrative operations.”

Al-Sharif Khalid AlGhalib, senior vice president and head of individual banking sector at NCB, said: “The agreement as another substantial step in a series of steps to support the Kingdom’s e-government march as the service is designed to speed up work, increase efficiency and reduce risk.

“Over 80% of the transactions of NCB’s customers are done electronically, which makes the e-Payroll system an additional convenience not only to employers but to the employee as well.”
