SHB deployed IBM Power Systems servers, IBM System Storage and IBM Tivoli software to streamline IT infrastructure management, consolidate data flows to provide with a single view of clients and data.
The new software will enable broader client reach through new online and mobile banking services while supporting growth.
SHB has introduced S-Double Account to provide new online services such as payroll services, credit card insurance, loan applications and overdraft protection to clients.
Additionally, SBH also provides new online and mobile-based services, such as loan application, appointment booking, and bill payment.
IBM Vietnam System and Technology Group country manager Nguyen Kim Hoa said that the technologies helped SHB to introduce new innovative online and mobile banking services to new client segments.
