S1 Enterprise, a division of S1 Corporation and a provider of bank-centric services, has released version 3.7 of S1 Online Banking, which reportedly combines an enhanced, flexible user interface with a single platform for personal banking and business banking.

According to the company, S1 Online Banking 3.7 has incorporated the latest Web 2.0 technologies to improve the user experience, while at the same time enhancing flexibility by separating the presentation layer from the business logic through the use of cascading style sheets.

An important feature of S1 Online Banking 3.7 is the “My Bank” landing page which displays the most commonly accessed information immediately after login for added convenience and accessibility, said S1 Enterprise.

Validated by feedback from its customers, the My Bank page presents account balances, recent and pending transactions and the ability to make a quick transfer, all from a single page, added S1 Enterprise.

The Info Centre presents a mini-dashboard of new messages, alerts and approvals on the My Bank page and other main pages. Further enhancements are navigational improvements including dropdown menus to enable quick browsing within the application and light boxes that provide detailed information and fields for entering information without leaving the primary screen, the company noted.
