The latest technology upgrade aims to create offerings and enrich customer experience through increased personalization and is part of the bank’s strategy to increase its customer base from current 3.6 million to 10 million by 2014.

Able to handle 3 million transactions month-on-month, the core banking system will enable the bank to upgrade 96 application systems, reconfiguring over 400 branches and migrating 3.2 million customers.

Using the latest technology, the bank will be able to provide new services like micro-financing and make banking services available through expanded partnerships with groceries, for underserved market.
