The new Sarasin Trust will be led by Michael Low, head of Trust and Fiduciary Services Asia, and Ethan Chue, head of trust Advisory Asia.
Swiss bank said that the new company is dedicated to providing in-house value-added trust, estate and succession planning advice to Sarasin Group clients in Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
The launch of Sarasin Trust is the latest addition to the private banking offering of the Sarasin Group, and a further step in implementing its future focus on acquiring and managing declared assets in the interests of its clients.
Sarasin Trust provides discretionary trusts and insurance trusts ,as well as corporate services, providing the management of offshore companies.
Bank Sarasin CEO Enid Yip said the establishment and launch of Singapore-based trust company deepens the commitment to clients in Singapore and Asia, but also extends the group offering to clients from Europe and the Middle East.
"Sarasin is home to some of the most experienced trust professionals in Asia, and we are delighted that we can leverage their expertise on a global basis for our clients," Yip said.
