Butcher joins the executive team from Charles Stanley & Co where he was also COO.
He succeeds Paul Chavasse who becomes Rathbones’ head of investment management early in 2012.
Butcher has 25 years experience within the financial services industry and is a member of the APCIMS Operations Committee and chairman of the Tax Incentivised Savings Association Savings and Investment Council.
