Eazycash service is the latest addition to the bank’s range of electronic banking services. With EazyCash, registered QNB customers can pay cash to any person in the country via an SMS transaction. The recipient can then collect the funds at any of 189 QNB ATMs in the country.
This cardless payment system can be carried out using a mobile phone. QNB claims that while the service is done remotely, it is still very secure as it does not require the use of pin numbers or sharing of account information with the payee.
QNB has outfitted all of its ATMs to make eazycash simply accessible.
The beneficiary does not have to be a QNB customer to withdraw funds, said QNB.
Using the Eazycash service, customers can also send cash to their own mobile phones to help them in situations where other cash and withdrawal methods are not available, such as when an ATM card is damaged or has expired.
