PrivatBank deputy CEO Alexander Vityaz said that the process of receiving the online payment is simple, as the customer simply confirms the payment term of input cards and CVV-code.
"If you have Smartphone, you are now ready to accept payments by cards, which will expand the scope of technology, and customers will be always satisfied with the quality of reception of payments," Vityaz added.
Running on optical character recognition technology, the mobile contactless POS is available for both corporate and private clients in Ukraine and Russia.
In order to ensure transaction safety, the payment process is monitored by 3Dsecure technology and customers willing to use the service should download the free application and connect the iPay card or account to which payments will be credited.
PrivatBank is one of the first banks to launch QR code based contactless services for its customers, which allows them to log in to their online bank account, withdraw cash at ATMs, fuel at gasoline stations, and many more.
