In this new role, Leone will have responsibilities over global clearing, information technology, finance and accounting.
Leone brings to this position over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined Penson Futures in November 2008 as director of global clearing and settlements.
Prior to Penson Futures, he was with JP Morgan Futures and ABN AMRO Futures as head of the North American customer service teams for each of those firms.
Penson Futures CEO John Streich said that Steve has shown the ability to adapt and effectively provide the necessary guidance and leadership to help move the company forward. His role as COO is integral to the growth of Penson Futures.
