VSoft, a global information and technology provider of process improvement solutions for financial institutions, has implemented its Centrum Gateway, an ATM solution at Palmetto Cooperative Services (PCS). This is expected to enable the South Carolina-based credit union service organization (CUSO) to provide a flexible deposit option for its credit union members with the new image-capture solution.
According to the company, with image-enabled ATMs and VSoft’s Centrum Gateway, when a member deposits a check into an ATM, the software captures the check image and related data and provides the receipt with an imprinted image of the deposited check(s) to verify the transaction.
It has added that VSoft’s Centrum Gateway – ATM software allows image-enabled ATMs to provide gateway functions for the captured deposits including collecting the captured images and data from multiple ATMs at a central location; virtual sorting; deposit review; and inputs to VSoft’s digital dashboard for enterprise-wide monitoring, thereby offering more insight into the institution’s distributed capture network.
