One PacificCoast Bank co-founder and CEO Kat Taylor said the firm performed an extensive search for the right person to fill this critical role.

"Michael’s leadership experience, expertise in core systems management and commitment to mission-based banking are just the skills we need to achieve our long-term goals," Taylor added.

Prior to accepting his current role at One PacificCoast Bank, Roberts was an executive at Bank of Alameda where he acted as head of operations and CIO in the bank’s de-novo stage, and assisted to develop the bank to its present four branch network in the Alameda-Berkeley-Oakland corridor.

Roberts began his career with Crocker Bank’s management training program, and served as a branch manager of the San Francisco Financial District offices.

With over 25 years of experience in bank management, he also served at community banking and oversaw operations and technology for six multi-branch banks and one bank holding company.
