The bank said that the creation of the COO function will further strengthen the bank’s organization and the transformation of its business model, facilitating the implementation of its growth strategy.

Hodler is also member of the Executive Boards of Julius Baer Group and Bank Julius Baer.

Swiss private bank said, as COO, Hodler will be responsible for providing the means to further align the business model of Bank Julius Baer with the changing private banking landscape.

At the same time, he has to provide the framework and resources for the implementation of the bank’s profitable growth strategy. Consequently, the areas risk, legal & compliance, it & operations and shared services will report directly to Hodler.
