NYSE Euronext has appointed Clarke Dryden Camper to the position of senior vice president, head of government affairs and public advocacy. Mr. Camper will report to John Halvey, general counsel and group executive vice president, NYSE Euronext.

Mr. Camper, who will be based in Washington, will be responsible for managing and executing the company’s government affairs and public advocacy programs. He has more than 20 years of experience in government relations, legislative policy and public advocacy.

Duncan Niederauer, chief executive officer of NYSE Euronext, said: Clarke is a highly skilled and seasoned professional whose extensive experience in the public and private sectors will be extremely beneficial to NYSE Euronext and our constituents during this time of great change in our capital markets.
