According to the wealth manager, the programs will provide the funds’ portfolio managers with extra flexibility to carry out attractive investment opportunities that is expected to enhance long-term shareholder returns.
As per the newly launched equity shelf programs, the funds may raise additional equity capital from time to time in different amounts and offering methods at a net price at or above each fund’s net asset value per common share, which is subject to market conditions, claims Nuveen Investment.
