Nomura deployed CorvilNet for complete monitoring of NXT Direct, which offers co-located software hosting and connectivity to major exchanges and MTFs in Europe.

The platform also delivers an integration with Nomura’s NXT products incorporating market access, market data and order routing.

Corvil said Nomura selected CorvilNet and used to measure the latency of Nomura’s platform at 2.8 microseconds.

Nomura head of electronic product EMEA Andrew Bowley said that Nomura has made significant investments to develop NXT Direct and to grow its market share across all European equities.

"Since deploying Corvil technology we have been able to keep latency and loss at negligible levels for clients who benefit from high performance execution," Bowley said.

Corvil CEO Donal Byrne said that Nomura’s NXT Ultra Low Latency Trading Platform provides groundbreaking connectivity to major exchanges and MTFs throughout Europe.

"We are delighted not only to strengthen our relationship with Nomura but also that CorvilNet was used to validate the performance of their advanced execution technology to latency sensitive clients," Byrne said.
