The new technology will enable the lender to expedite cards issuing and cash acquiring program, while allowing it offer various card services to consumers and businesses in the region.

NMB Bank managing director Benefit Washaya said the new system has been tailored as per clients’ needs and market changes, and is secure, stable, compliant platform combined with the flexibility for future growth.

"PRIME’s extensive capabilities will enable us to deliver a range of flexible product offerings whilst benefitting from improved security and risk management," Washaya added.

PRIME 4, a multi-lingual, multi-currency, multi-institutional and multi-product, single platform for issuers and acquirers, is currently being deployed by 130 clients in over 70 countries.
