The fund is a sub-fund of Natixis International Funds (Lux) I, an open-ended Luxembourg-domiciled UCITS, and invests in 20 US stock holdings of large- and mid-capitalisation companies.
The large- and mid-cap US equities fund will be managed by a team that includes Harris chief investment officer Robert Levy, portfolio managers Mike Mangan and Edward Loeb. The team will in turn receive support from a group of established US equity analysts.
Natixis Global Associates International president and CEO Herve Guinamant said that the fund will provide potential long-term performance and capital growth.
"In these challenging economic times, the Harris approach allows investors to think past short-term market movements and build durable U.S. equities exposure," Guinamant added.
